MY MISSION
Enable The Future of Human Spaceflight
Welcome to my personal website! My mission is to enable the future of human spaceflight with the leading players in spaceflight today. My interests and specialties align with astronauts and spacesuits. I have been immersed in human spaceflight research and development for over 5 years throughout my university projects and NASA internships. I am skilled in leadership, hardware design, software design, human factors, and real-time operations. I aim to work on projects that will push humanity closer to the Moon and on to Mars.
I have had the privilege of beginning my career in human spaceflight early on. Since 2017 I have been an employee of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University S.U.I.T. Lab where I have led teams of students to conduct spacesuit research. Throughout my undergraduate journey I also earned two NASA internships where I directly supported ongoing efforts to develop the next generation lunar spacesuit for the Artemis Program. My passion for this mission fuels my dedication to the work I do.
HUMAN SPACEFLIGHT SKILLS
Throughout all the projects I have worked on between my laboratory research, NASA design challenges, and NASA internships, I have maintained a common thread of human spaceflight. On top of the existing technical challenges of spaceflight, I have learned to consider the aspects of adding a human into the loop of operations and apply them to my work. I constantly find myself approaching problems from the perspective of an astronaut.
To accomplish my goals and overcome challenges I have learned CAD programs, 3D printing, computer programming, hardware testing, SCUBA diving, and technical writing. I also learned how to lead and how to learn from other leaders in order to support my teams in the best way possible. The interpersonal and communication skills I have developed are paramount to the human spaceflight projects I have been involved in.
